True story

My breakfast today consisted of a bowl of cheerios and a palm-sized slab of gingerbread with lots of icing and covered - covered! - in smarties.

And this, folks, is why Christmas and my butt are motal enemies.

*Editied to add, for my American readers: Smarites are like M&M's, but better! They're not the sugary candy... um... pellets? like in the States*

*Also edited to add: My lunch also involves a cheese ball. I'm going straight to the fat farm, aren't I? Sigh.*

hmmm... I currently have a rubix cube gingerbread, a half eaten gingerbread house, and a box of chocolates all on the counter in the kitchen. They seem to have much louder voices then the veggies in the fridge! Is it a sign of insanity that candy and chocolate speak to me? :)

Ooohhh! Cheeseball! Now I want a cheeseball!

(I also want veggies in the fridge... I have leafy greens, which is close but now I want crunchy stuff. I need a party platter.)

There really are no Smarties in the USA - what a sad sad country :(

Maybe the cheerios cancels out the smarties? :)

Wow, how strange that your Smarties are different. Because I started out thinking how gross that was and why would you eat it. One of my college buddies was from Germany and I got addicted to Ritter Sport chocolates when her Dad would mail them to us. Now the horrible grocer next to my house is selling them and tempting me to eat them every single time I go shopping.

Smarties are basically the greatest candy EVER. I'm glad to see your making the same kind of nutrional meal choices that I am. Good work, Hillary! :)

I think I am going to die of mal-nutrition. I have a butt-load of cookies from the cookie exchange that you MISSED on Sunday. My breakfast was probably worse than yours. But ya. That is still pretty bad.

I was doing so good up until this week. Who knows how many cookies and other junk I've had!

When I first read you ate Smarties on Gingerbread, I was a little freaked out! Yes, I was picturing the sweetart like things in the US.
